CINEMA DAY: Captain Fantastic

 Captain Fantastic (2016)
Producer- Matt Ross
The film "Captain Fantastic" received the "Special View of the Cannes Festival" award in the nomination "Best Director" and not without reason. I don't know from where to start writing about this film. Captain Fantastic is about hippie. Do you ever wonder how the hippie’s life changes after the marriage and the birth of children? This film is one of more possible variants of hippie’s life. This family lives in the forest, away from society and imposed labels. The main purpose of the head of the family is to raise children as kind and honest people.  The life without people isn’t a hindrance to development. They all study, speak several languages, read and then analyze books, understand philosophy and quantum physics, and most importantly they live in harmony, not only with themselves, but also with nature.
The only downside is that they are not adapted to society. And here it all begins when children go out from the forest, fall in love with somebody, find out what the Internet and social networks are. This is the real test for them, how will they change, what will they become and what will they choose?

For me, this film is permeated with kindness and a free spirit; it makes you think about the freedom of the individual not only in society, but also in the family. It is difficult to describe the feelings after this film, but they are definitely very warm. When I think about it for long time, there is a desire to leave this mad city with your loved one and to go somewhere in a deserted place, to build a house, to see nature every day, to read a lot of books, to talk, to dance, to climb the mountains and to forget what time and human fuss are.

WHAT TO DO IN WIEN? WIEN IN A DAY

Exactly a week ago I and my friends were in Vienna. We rent a car in Budapest, because it costs twice cheaper than the way with bus or train. A car for a day costs 60 Euro, and there were 3 of us, so it was only 20 Euro for a person, but bus or train cost 28 euro in one direction per person, that is why car was the best solution in our situation and also it’s more comfortable of course. We arrived in Vienna around at 2 o’clock and we had only one day to explore the city before we had to return back in Budapest. I know it’s very little time for such a beautiful city, like Vienna but it’s better than nothing.  At first sight Vienna seemed to me to be very pompous city (in a good way). This city is all about beautiful buildings (coz each of them seems to be a work of art), incredible castles, expensive places and best schnitzel and theatres in the entire world. Vienna is cultural center of the world and from ancient times to today, it remains an aristocratic and solemn city. That was the expression Vienna left me with.  But I like it and I wish I return there, coz I want to feel Vienna from the inside and not only its central places. Even so I have couple of recommendations about MUST SEE spots. So, let’s go...

CINEMA DAY: LIFE IN A DAY (2011)

Couple of days ago I watched a movie, which I want to share with you now. Life in a Day (2011). This a documentary film about human’s life in one day. People from all over the world took part in this film-project. They sent their videos on youtube and then became a part from this historical experiment about “Life in one day''. This is truly a large-scale movie that can change the worldview of each of us, first of all because this movie is real life. This film gives us the possibility to feel what the life is and how this life can be. Just imagine how many craziest things are happening today, on 19.08.17, how many children are born, how many people have died, how many people overcame their fear, how many people learned how to swim, how many people are married and how many divorced, how many people loose the meaning of life and how many have found it. It’s madness what can happened in one simple day. This film offers us the possibility to look at the reality of our life and the planet, on cynicism, severity, happiness, disappointment.. What else I liked more about this movie is that all people were asked 3 simple questions. What are you afraid of? What's in your bag? Who do you love? And every person answered differently, like someone loves god and fears that unbelievers will suffer in hell, someone loves cat and fears spiders. How are we all so different, but at the same time the same, how different our life is, but its is one for all. This film allows us to go around the globe, see and feel how people think, what is important for them, and most importantly how they live. Because life is the main thing!

FIND YOUR INSPIRATION

I am a person, who is inspired by photos. They are an integral part of my life. I love to take photographs and to be photographed. I think that photo is a pictorial art of 21st century. Photos as well as painting give us possibilities to stop the time and to feel the moment of a certain period of life. Photography is as an attempt to consolidate the past, in spite of the galloping time. That’s why this post is all about inspiration, namely inspiration for attractive outfits and good spot locations in order to make some perfect photos, which others will want to save in favorites!
