THE STREETS OF PARIS FW/ SPRING 2018

The fashion week in Paris conquers the hearts of all people with legendary shows of outstanding designers as Choé, Masion Margiela, Dior, Elie Saab, Sant Laurent,  Kenzo, Balmain and many many other stunning brands. Paris is always something very magical, a place where inspiration can be found even if you wandering along a narrow street, especially if it's a Paris fashion week (of course for those, who loves fashion). Suddenly I’m not in Paris now, but I’m avidly following all the collections and street looks on social media and feeling already so inspirited for creating new looks.  But now, let’s keep an eye on the best looks of this Parisian week!

P.S. This season trends- caps, berets, oversize jumpers with high neck, oversized check blazers, oversized bombers, white blouses, trenchcoats, wide pants, adidas joogers;
Shoes- over-the-knee boots, kitten heels, sneakers, dr. martens boots
Glassies- 90'style, cat-eye;
Prints- floral, striped, checked;
Colors- red, blue, black.

CINEMA DAY: The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared

What can a hundred-year old man do? Lie under a dropper or at best play dominoes.. But it isn't his story.
Director-Felix Herngren.
Allan’s birthday. He turns 100. He tired of senseless living in the home of the elderly that is why he decided to climb out the window and to disappear. Soon it becomes clear that all hundred years of his life are continuous adventures.  At the first hour, he quarrels with the bandit and leaves in an unknown direction with alien bagged. All his life, he swims with the flow, but for some reason always sails to his favorite occupations - feasts and all kinds of explosions. His life was never boring, for the first his scream, when he has born to the sitting on the beach with elephant and drinking beer.
 I really didn’t expect that this Scandinavian film would be so exiting. From the first 10 minutes it conquered my heart.  It is a dark comedy… I love dark humor, so it’s the best variant for me.  This film is all about adventures, which are accompanied by ridiculous jokes. This is the movie from which you don’t even want to be distracted. Every minute happens something that will grab your attention.
Following the logic of the film, fate loves sincere and honest people. Perhaps, this is the main theme.
I wish I could be as cool when I reach 100 years old.
Watch it and enjoy!

CINEMA DAY: Kis Uykusu/Winter sleep (2014)

"Wintersleep" is a three-hour conversation film in which the whole drama is hidden in dialogues. It is worth to mention that this film has received a golden palm on the Cannes Festival in 2014 and won the hearts of many directors.
The story is about a man named Aydin, a former actor who opened a small hotel somewhere in Anatolia. In winter, when the snow falls on the Anatolian steppe, Aydin stays alone with two women - a recently divorced sister and wife, who doesn’t love him for a long time.
Usually, when the film is good, we can speak so much about it, but this film is different, we need to listen to it very and very attentively. This film is built on dialogues, which everyone understands in different ways.
"Winter sleep" is a philosophical masterpiece, which is for the "thinking viewer". And it's masterpiece because of the dialogues (as I said before): about the problems of societies, about non-standard ideas, for example how to defeat the crime, and just about the people’s relationships. Conversations between main characters automatically immerse us in this wrapped atmosphere of reflection and we quietly enter into a dialogue with them.
Actor's play is at the highest level. The scenery is as detailed as it can be: there is nothing superfluous, everything has sense.
I can compare this film with “Toni Erdmann”, they both are very good, but you can’t say a lot about what you have seen in them, coz the meaning is lost, we should listen these movies with our ears.

CINEMA DAY: LOVELESS (2017)

Andrei Zvyagintsev made me love Russian films. I’m a big fun of his works and he is also one of my favorite directors. I watched almost all of his movies and each of them are so penetrating and realistic.

Like all of his fans, I like him, because his movies are about real world. Some people don’t like him, because he shows Russia not in the best way, but I think it is stupid. Firstly, this is not a life namely of Russia, it can be in all countries and secondary, it is the real life and it can’t be everywhere good and all people can’t be strong and happy. Then why directors should film only movies with happy endings where everything is good?
We are different, some of us struggling with problems and never give up, but some of us just feel miserable and all that they can do is to drink vodka and to be sad, we should not condemn others coz they don’t live the life, that we think it’s right to live. WE ARE ALL DIFFERENT and each of us look at this life in a different way. And it’s very stupid to accuse Zvyagintsev that he shows only negative part of life, he has his own ideology, he films about what he had seen in his life and none of us can’t say that there are no such situations in life as unfair government, treasons, inactive policemen, corruption, betrayal, mercantile spirit, loveless and weak people. This is a life and his task to show such situations to open our hearts and minds and to make us look from the side on what we did with our lives and if it is normal to transform our life in such nightmare?
The film “Loveless” is about a life where love doesn't. No love between a couple, between parents and child, everyone has their own life, only child suffers from the lack of love and caress, these makes him just disappear and you know, almost nothing changes.

If you are a person, who loves to think and who is not afraid to be realist, then this film is for you.

CINEMA DAY: Laurence anyways

Laurence Anyways (2012)

Director: Xavier Dolan
If you ask me about my favorite film director, I’ll definitely answer that it’s Xavier Dolan. My acquaintance with Xavier happened while watching the movie “Mommy”, after which I fell in love with him. This film left an indelible impression after watching. And till now “Mommy” remains one of my favorite films and furthermore I think that Xavier made a great work and he is a genius coz every detail, every moment is conveyed so realistically that you are not even though immersed in this atmosphere. His every movie is an art, coz his impeccable style to film, actors, dialogues and music merge into one and thus forming a masterpiece. So, as you could understand, I watch all his films, the last one was “Juste la fin du monde”, but this Saturday I want to do a review about “Laurence anyways”.
This movie is about a professor, who works in college, writes his first poetic book and lives a happy life with his girlfriend. But there is a problem; he feels uncertainty being in a male body, he feels like he should be a woman. All begins when his girlfriend finds out about his decision to change his gender. Then we plunge into a three-hour scene that shows us the life of a man who decided to become a woman, shows the labor through which he passed, the support of a beloved girl and finally the reassessment of values and the adoption of an important decision in life. And if you think that this is a film about transsexuals, then I want to disappoint you,well, or rejoice, coz this movie is about very beautiful and strong love story, which doesn’t know any barriers.
In this film you will not see the transformation and operations, it isn’t important at all, the most important thing to see is what people go through, what they do for the sake of gaining freedom, of trying to find themselves and to find that without what thing they will not be able to live. “Laurence Anyways” is a good example, which shows that love and support are the main things in human’s life.
Do you know what I love the most of all in Xavier? He has talent to show trivial problems, such as love, relationship with society, family, parents, but also his unusual vision which made typical films about love, which could be filmed by millions of other directors, the unusual ones.

CINEMA DAY: Captain Fantastic

 Captain Fantastic (2016)
Producer- Matt Ross
The film "Captain Fantastic" received the "Special View of the Cannes Festival" award in the nomination "Best Director" and not without reason. I don't know from where to start writing about this film. Captain Fantastic is about hippie. Do you ever wonder how the hippie’s life changes after the marriage and the birth of children? This film is one of more possible variants of hippie’s life. This family lives in the forest, away from society and imposed labels. The main purpose of the head of the family is to raise children as kind and honest people.  The life without people isn’t a hindrance to development. They all study, speak several languages, read and then analyze books, understand philosophy and quantum physics, and most importantly they live in harmony, not only with themselves, but also with nature.
The only downside is that they are not adapted to society. And here it all begins when children go out from the forest, fall in love with somebody, find out what the Internet and social networks are. This is the real test for them, how will they change, what will they become and what will they choose?

For me, this film is permeated with kindness and a free spirit; it makes you think about the freedom of the individual not only in society, but also in the family. It is difficult to describe the feelings after this film, but they are definitely very warm. When I think about it for long time, there is a desire to leave this mad city with your loved one and to go somewhere in a deserted place, to build a house, to see nature every day, to read a lot of books, to talk, to dance, to climb the mountains and to forget what time and human fuss are.

WHAT TO DO IN WIEN? WIEN IN A DAY

Exactly a week ago I and my friends were in Vienna. We rent a car in Budapest, because it costs twice cheaper than the way with bus or train. A car for a day costs 60 Euro, and there were 3 of us, so it was only 20 Euro for a person, but bus or train cost 28 euro in one direction per person, that is why car was the best solution in our situation and also it’s more comfortable of course. We arrived in Vienna around at 2 o’clock and we had only one day to explore the city before we had to return back in Budapest. I know it’s very little time for such a beautiful city, like Vienna but it’s better than nothing.  At first sight Vienna seemed to me to be very pompous city (in a good way). This city is all about beautiful buildings (coz each of them seems to be a work of art), incredible castles, expensive places and best schnitzel and theatres in the entire world. Vienna is cultural center of the world and from ancient times to today, it remains an aristocratic and solemn city. That was the expression Vienna left me with.  But I like it and I wish I return there, coz I want to feel Vienna from the inside and not only its central places. Even so I have couple of recommendations about MUST SEE spots. So, let’s go...

CINEMA DAY: LIFE IN A DAY (2011)

Couple of days ago I watched a movie, which I want to share with you now. Life in a Day (2011). This a documentary film about human’s life in one day. People from all over the world took part in this film-project. They sent their videos on youtube and then became a part from this historical experiment about “Life in one day''. This is truly a large-scale movie that can change the worldview of each of us, first of all because this movie is real life. This film gives us the possibility to feel what the life is and how this life can be. Just imagine how many craziest things are happening today, on 19.08.17, how many children are born, how many people have died, how many people overcame their fear, how many people learned how to swim, how many people are married and how many divorced, how many people loose the meaning of life and how many have found it. It’s madness what can happened in one simple day. This film offers us the possibility to look at the reality of our life and the planet, on cynicism, severity, happiness, disappointment.. What else I liked more about this movie is that all people were asked 3 simple questions. What are you afraid of? What's in your bag? Who do you love? And every person answered differently, like someone loves god and fears that unbelievers will suffer in hell, someone loves cat and fears spiders. How are we all so different, but at the same time the same, how different our life is, but its is one for all. This film allows us to go around the globe, see and feel how people think, what is important for them, and most importantly how they live. Because life is the main thing!

FIND YOUR INSPIRATION

I am a person, who is inspired by photos. They are an integral part of my life. I love to take photographs and to be photographed. I think that photo is a pictorial art of 21st century. Photos as well as painting give us possibilities to stop the time and to feel the moment of a certain period of life. Photography is as an attempt to consolidate the past, in spite of the galloping time. That’s why this post is all about inspiration, namely inspiration for attractive outfits and good spot locations in order to make some perfect photos, which others will want to save in favorites!
